Threats Continue At Calif. Schools

Officers responded to Thornton Junior High School after a male juvenile called the school about 2 p.m. and made threats, said police Spokeswoman Geneva Bosques.

Police did not say what kind of threats were made, but the school was not evacuated.

"School staff and police recognized the call as possibly being the same outstanding suspect from last week," Bosques said Tuesday morning. "Police coordinated a response to the campus without disrupting the school."
