Three-town district in Mass. votes to back new $89M high school

Ashby voters overwhelmingly voiced their approval for the new high-school building project as presented during Saturday morning's Special Town Meeting at the elementary school.

The affirmative vote now sends the project to a debt-exclusion vote that will be on the town's annual town election ballot April 28.

All three member towns must pass a debt-exclusion ballot question at their respective annual town elections later this spring to fund the project. Once the project is funded, construction can begin.
