What school tech staffs did during the holiday break

Work speeds up around the holidays for Fowler and other employees of technology departments in schools and businesses across the country, while it slows for the people they serve. It’s a time when few will complain if tech workers interrupt Internet access or shut down email servers to make upgrades.

“Winter is never a quiet time for tech,” said Paul Ross, director of technology for Bexley schools. “If I want to take a system down during the school day, it’s going to be a fairly major problem or a critical concern.”
