Wisconsin approves new K12 financial literacy grants

Learning how to make a buck is an essential part of education. So is learning how to spend it wisely.

That's why the state departments of Financial Institutions and Public Instruction are teaming up to provide a $250,000 statewide grant program to encourage Wisconsin’s K12 school districts to incorporate personal finance education into their curricula.

The program's intent is to support efforts of individual teachers and school districts to begin new and sustainable programs and events.
