Wyoming legislators say impeachment unlikely for embattled schools chief

But several leading lawmakers say impeachment is not likely for the embattled schools chief, whose term as superintendent ends in January.

Since passing a law removing Hill from office more than a year ago, the Wyoming Legislature has spent about $231,000 to investigate Hill, according to a draft report released Tuesday. 

Hill has since been reinstated as the department's top official, following a Wyoming Supreme Court ruling calling the law unconstitutional.
