Prior to joining AACTE, Dr. Robinson was president of the Educational Testing Service's (ETS) Educational Policy Leadership Institute. The Gold Medal Award was established by Ascend Education in 2010 to honor the school or district that best demonstrates a dedication to ensuring that all students become successful at math. Each Gold Medal nominee used Ascend Math as their math intervention solution to assist struggling students.
