This release provides end users with the ability to export data from most BusinessPLUS screens directly to Microsoft® Excel. As a result of this new functionality, school administrators can create simple reports by pulling data for easy manipulation and analysis. Like many BusinessPLUS enhancements, this feature is free for all current customers.

Each school district’s goal was to supply every student with a tablet and integrate it into their existing curriculum and technology. NCCISD has completed this goal, outfitting all 300 students in the district. MISD supplied their entire sixth grade of 1,600 students with LearnPads as part of a multi-year integration of 1:1.

English Spanish Success!, an interdisciplinary suite of innovative curriculum products (Sparkito!, Comprendo!, Claro!) published and distributed by Sunburst, is currently being used in 68 Austin Independent School District (AISD) elementary schools and over 100 districts in the U.S. ESS! supports language and academic vocabulary acquisition skills for Spanish-dominant speaking student populations.

An independent panel of judges decided which schools would be selected for the award after nominations were submitted earlier this year. In addition to reviewing each school’s safety plan, the judges also based final scores on six criteria and put an emphasis on schools that use technology to promote safety.
