Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg; the schools chancellor, Dennis M. Walcott; and senior education officials took a victory lap of sorts on Monday, visiting 22 New York City public schools that ranked among the state’s top 25 in reading and math exams given last spring.

The pairing of the lock and remote fob is always done at the lock and up to ten fobs can be paired in the field to one lock. Likewise, up to ten locks can be paired to one fob. When the fob is pressed for two seconds, it locks down the lock closest in range to avoid accidently locking another door. The typical range is up to 75 feet.

One of the most notable features offered by the DC-12 is its new picture-in-picture functionality, which allows students to view original and zoomed-in images simultaneously – when digital zoom is in use, a large window shows the featured section, while a smaller window keeps perspective on the original image.
