About 29 percent of school districts statewide changed superintendents during the previous school year, according to a recent report published by the New Jersey Schools Boards Association (NJSBA).

The Alabama State Board of Education has narrowed its choices for the next state schools superintendent down to four. On Tuesday they selected the four from a pool of applicants whose size disappointed some board members.

There is one major education reform in Mississippi that could be accomplished easily and would not cost anything - requiring that all school superintendents be appointed.
