The National School Boards Association (NSBA), with more than 25 years experience through its Technology Leadership Network (TLN), is pleased to announce the six companies selected for its first Technology Innovation Showcase.
“The Technology Innovation Showcase was created to highlight emerging companies that represent the diversity of new solutions in education,” said Ann Flynn, NSBA’s Director of Education Technology.

The price of pursuing a five-year plan that would eventually put a personal computing device in the hands of every student at Barre City Elementary and Middle School accounts for nearly $300,000 of a budget increase that — at least for the moment — is still sitting at roughly $1.4 million.

Austin Public Schools is opening a new school in August 2013 that will house all fifth and sixth grade public school students from the Austin area. Sections of the building are now sealed up tight and heated. Classrooms are beginning to appear within as cement floors are laid and walls are erected. I had the opportunity to tour the construction recently and the images I have viewed for months on blueprints are becoming a reality.
