EMC Publishing unveils immersive Spanish education program

EMC Publishing launched its new immersive Spanish-language proficiency program, ¡Qué chévere!. The series, which offers five levels of Spanish instruction for middle school through high school students, is available in print and digital format. The new Spanish program will be available in a digital format in EMC Publishing’s Passport learning environment.

Mobile University rolls out its partner school micro-site program

Leverage Applications' Mobile University Partner School program has fully launched. Available for iOS and Android devices, the university search apps let students search more than 4,500 schools nationwide by location, degrees offered, test scores, tuition and more. Students can also search approximately 18,000 scholarships within the database.

PublicSchoolWORKS selected as approved suicide prevention training program in Wyo.

The Wyoming Department of Education has named PublicSchoolWORKS as an approved provider of training on suicide prevention fundamentals and core competencies for all staff in school districts. Beginning with this school year, Wyoming educators are required to receive a minimum of two hours of suicide prevention training each year to maintain their state teaching licenses.

Iowa school system incorporates Awareity's prevention platform

Nodaway Valley CSD is implementing Awareity’s TIPS (Threat assessment, Incident management & Prevention Services) prevention platform to help improve school communications, raise awareness and improve student safety. TIPS is a solution that equips students, teachers, staff, parents and community members to anonymously report bullying, weapons, abuse and other concerning behaviors.
