McGraw-Hill Education CTB announced the completion of the first cycle of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development’s new OECD Test for Schools benchmarking tool. The 2014 results provide schools with insights into student performance in reading, science and mathematics relative to international results from the Programme for International Student Assessment.

General Mills Foodservice and National Dairy Council are partnering again to help K12 schools expand their breakfast programs by offering Fuel Up Breakfast Grants. Schools that participate in the National School Breakfast Program and are enrolled in the Fuel Up to Play 60 program are eligible for the grant program.

Neenah Joint, Menasha Joint and Marion Independent School Districts have designated Skyward to improve business and student operations within their districts. Two of the three districts will be implementing Skyward’s School Business Suite, while the third will be deploying the Student Management Suite.

School Improvement Network released a report on teacher professional development policy in all 50 states. The report findings indicate that schools, districts and states lack the professional development and support needed to make soon mandated teacher evaluations a meaningful part of professional growth towards educator effectiveness.
