Lafayette Parish School System has selected BenchPrep to provide digital courses for college readiness and ACT preparation for the 2014-2015 school year. The online program will launch in August 2014 and will be offered to all high school juniors in the district.

HP signed a two-year contract for five out of six categories in the New York State (NYS) Aggregate PC Initiative. As part of the Initiative, HP will be the first-choice provider for nearly 65,000 desktops and 27,000 notebooks for all state agencies.

Torsh Inc. and New Teacher Center have launched a beta version of its Ask a Mentor service, powered by Torsh. The new mentoring service for teachers offers on-demand access to expert mentors. The full launch of Ask A Mentor will occur in late August.
