Kickboard open sources policies to better protect student privacy

Kickboard is open sourcing its privacy policies and processes to help other K12 companies develop an effective privacy policy and terms of service. Kickboard’s Platform and Service Privacy Policy includes information about the roles of schools and school officials; how information about students, school officials and parents is collected, tracked and used; and data security.

Connecticut district incorporates CrisisManager

Stonington Public Schools is now using SchoolDude's CrisisManager. The Connecticut district’s administrators have access to CrisisManager and their school's customized emergency response plans on their smartphones. Detailed instructions outline plans for inclement weather, injured student, active shooter, bomb threat and other crisis situations.
