NetSupport launches NetSupport School Tutor app

NetSupport announced the availability of its NetSupport School Tutor app for Chrome OS. The new app will enable teachers in a dedicated Chrome environment to remotely interact and engage with student Chromebooks from their own Chrome OS-based system.

ConnectEDU follows Gates Foundation grant with Ch. 11 bankruptcy

Months after receiving a $500,000 grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Boston-based ed tech startup ConnectEDU has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. In its filing, ConnectEDU cited its inability to pay debt owed to over 200 creditors.
