The online event will include presentations by Julie Evans, CEO of Project Tomorrow®, Dr. Karen Mapp, director of the Education Policy and Management Program at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and administrators from K-12 districts across the country.

Mrs. P invites K-4 classrooms nationwide to write a story about "Magic”, the theme of this year’s contest, containing no less than 250 words and not to exceed 1,000. It may be fiction or non-fiction and some of the things considered in selections are: Originality, creativity, compelling narrative, humor, sense of adventure and the development of a theme or point of view.

The foundation’s three-year grant will provide MIND’s ST Math® early learning program for 1,400 preschoolers as well as professional development sessions by MIND Research staff for 20 preschool teachers.

More than 140,000 youth from 192 countries registered to join the Summer School and 100 participants were selected based on their motivation to improve intercultural understanding and cooperation across borders.

Supported by a $5 million contribution from AT&T, Communities In Schools will expand and strengthen its network that is helping 1.25 million of the nation’s most challenged students achieve in school, graduate and go on to college and career success. In addition, AT&T employees will support these efforts as volunteer mentors across the country.
