FCS was selected by the U.S. Dept. of Education for the 2010 Investing in Innovation Grant (i3), at the time one of only twelve public school districts selected for the grant, and the sole recipient in Georgia.

Teachers were asked to write a fun lesson plan, in 100 words or less, using the SAMCAM 760. The top 20 finalists were then asked to submit a video showing their lesson plan in the classroom with the Samsung document camera.
