Nick Ouellette, currently the superintendent of the Odebolt-Arthur and Battle Creek Schools in Iowa, has been chosen to take over the Wisconsin district's top leadership position. He is replacing Superintendent Mary Bowen-Eggebraaten, who is retiring after 10 years in the position.

The Washington district's board of directors selected Tammy Campbell, who is currently serving as the assistant superintendent for learning and teaching in the Renton School District. The superintendent position was vacated after former Superintendent Rob Neu became the head of the Oklahoma City Public School District.

The Illinois school district hired Dwight Stricklin as its next superintendent. Stricklin, who is superintendent and principal at Kansas Elementary School in southeastern Illinois, will succeed Curt Nettles.

The East Baton Rouge Parish School System picked Warren Drake, the former superintendent of the Zachary school district. Drake has spent much of his career working in East Baton Rouge schools.

Craig Tice, currently the Marcellus school district's superintendent, will take over the superintendent position for the Fayetteville-Manlius school district in July. The district's current superintendent, Corliss Kaiser, will retire after 46 years working in education, including 10 as Fayetteville-Manlius' superintendent.

The Lake Mills School Board selected Chad Kohagen, the high school principal at Oelwein High School, as the district’s next superintendent. He will succeed Daryl Sherman, who is retiring after 39 years in education, 21 of them as Lake Mills superintendent.

Assistant Superintendent Cameron Ryba will become the Ohio school district's superintendent when John Krupinski retires in July. Ryba has spent nearly 10 years working for the district.

Les Tubb had been the North Carolina district's interim superintendent since the board terminated former Superintendent Edward Pruden's contract in November. Tubb, who has been with Brunswick County Schools since 1975, has served the county as a principal, director of athletics and career technical education director.

Leland Stocker has been selected by the Montana district to serve as its new superintendent. Stocker is currently serving as the assistant superintendent and personnel director for Havre Public Schools.

Calvin J. Watts, an assistant superintendent for Gwinnett County Public Schools in Suwanee, Ga., will be the Kent School District's next superintendent. He will succeed Edward Lee Vargas, who stepped down in October after six years in Kent to accept a nonprofit position.
