The Illinois district voted to approve Superintendent Jeff Schuler’s resignation. Schuler has accepted an offer to become superintendent for schools in the Wheaton Warrenville School District in the beginning of September.

Warsaw School District Superintendent Matt Runge has accepted a similar position in the Pleasant Plains School District in Illinois. Warsaw's board of education has agreed that high school Principal Bob Gound will be promoted to superintendent.

Steve Atwater spent five years with the Kenai Peninsula Borough School District, including his final role as superintendent. He is leaving to become an associate vice president with the University of Alaska in charge of K12 outreach.

Jennifer Snyder has been picked at the superintendent for Doniphan R-1 Schools. She replaces Dan Schlief, who left after three years to become superintendent for the Woodland R-IV district in Bollinger County.

California's Palos Verdes Peninsula district appointed a new superintendent but will keep the current one on staff - at full pay. Donald Austin, formerly an assistant superintendent of educational services at Huntington Beach Union High School District, will replace Walker Williams, who will retire at the end of the 2014-2015 school year.

California's South Bay USD has named Cindy Schaub as the district’s new Assistant Superintendent of Educational Leadership. She currently serves as the Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services in the Rancho Santa Fe School District.

The Morgan County Board of Education named James Woodard as the only candidate for Morgan County Schools' superintendent position. Woodard is currently both the director of the Career, Technical and Agricultural Education program and the CEO/principal of the Newton College and Career Academy.

Superintendent Pedro Martinez will return to work on the heels of Washoe County School Board Trustees announcing that his ousting last week is void. Martinez said that his lawsuits against the district and the school board would still move forward.

City of Cape Coral Charter School Superintendent Angela Pruitt recently resigned from her role after only a year in the position. She will be returning to work with the Lee County School District as the new human resources executive director.

Kaneland School District 302 Superintendent Jeff Schuler is resigning to become the next superintendent at Wheaton Warrenville School District 200. Schuler has served the Kaneland district for four years as superintendent.
