Introducing Classroom, a new tool in Google Apps for Education

Google Chromebooks and Google Apps for Education provide districts with cloud-based tools that are easy to implement and manage, affordable and reliable, enabling student collaboration, communication and content creation from anywhere, on any device and at any time.

This fall, Google will introduce Classroom, a free new tool in Google Apps for Education. Classroom weaves together Google Docs, Drive and Gmail to help teachers create and organize assignments quickly, provide feedback efficiently, and communicate with their classes with ease. Classroom also enables students to organize, complete and turn in work, and communicate directly with their teachers and peers.

Attend this web seminar to hear firsthand experience from one of the teachers currently piloting Classroom and explore some of the ways that students and teachers can use it in their schools.

Topics will include:

  • An overview of Google for Education, which includes Google Apps for Education, Chromebooks, and tablets with Google Play for Education
  • How Google tools can be used to improve student learning, collaboration, and innovation
  • Keys to using Google for Education tools effectively, and how Classroom will connect and integrate with these tools
