Photoshop and Premiere Elements 11

Available for Windows and Mac OS users, the newest Adobe photo and video editing software has added features to fit any student skill level, including an updated interface. Photoshop Elements 11 allows creations to be shared via email, Facebook, YouTube, Vimeo and more and can organize photos based on people, places or events. Premiere Elements 11 has similar new features, as well as more video effects, transitions, themes, titles, disc menus and sound.


“Turn-Key” Outdoor Installation PA Systems

Technomad offers pre-assembled PA packages that provide the needs a school sports stadium or outdoor venue may need for announcements and music. They can include a microphone, mixer with mic and iPod/CD/tape inputs, amplifier, wire, mounting brackets, a pair of weatherproof loudspeakers, among other PA equipment. The package also includes all necessary cables and connectors to facilitate installation.


DC-20 Document Camera

With a 12x optical zoom and HDMI output, this latest document camera from Epson also has a camera head that rotates +/- 90 degrees to capture many angles in the classroom. Additionally, teachers can write or draw over live images using a wired USB mouse, connect any standard microscope eye piece to share magnified images and display images side-by-side, among many other advanced features.


Netop Vision Mobile

Now available on the iPhone, the Netop Vision Mobile app allows teachers to access all their educational resources on their desktop PC from their iPads. When used in combination with Netop Vision or Netop Vision Pro, this app also lets teachers manage, monitor and display an individual student computer screen, wherever they are in the classroom.


Instead of studying, students play The Challenge on, a game that rewards vocabulary learning and effort. The free website offers more than 100,000 questions to teach more than 10,000 words that include short blurbs describing what the word means and how the word is used. In addition to more than 50,000 pre-made lists, teachers, parents, and students have the option to create their own lists, grabbing vocabulary from up to 100 pages of any online resource.
