Lockers and apps

Where: Grapevine-Colleyville ISD (Texas)

The challenge: Chief Technology Officer Kyle Berger wanted to make it easier for students to have their devices repaired at school.

“We only have two techs, and students would have to catch them while they were in their office and that didn’t always happen” he says.

The solution: Berger started a program in which students create a repair ticket using an app and store their devices in a Kwikboost locker located outside the technical support office. Techs then retrieve, repair and return these devices to the locker before notifying students that the devices are ready to be picked up.
