Administrators striving to align instruction with the Common Core have an ever increasing range of curriculum programs from which to choose.

Several new social studies programs focus on keeping students abreast of current and archived news while other materials spotlight America’s history.

As teachers turn more to integrating software into their world language programs, multilingual digital curriculums focus on e-learning immersion and digital language lab software.

In addition, career readiness programs have expanded to include business simulations, role-playing games and career guidance systems.

Fully integrated classroom activities connect with core curriculum subjects to encourage independent and group problem-solving, reflection and personal discovery.

Virtual Business—Management Online

Knowledge Matters

This business simulation program allows students to take over the role of general manager at a make-believe bicycle and jeans factory. Bicycles and jeans were chosen because of teenagers' familiarity with them. They also entail a reasonably understandable manufacturing process that have visually distinct steps. Students begin by managing a small facility. As they advance, they can lease as much space as they want and grow into manufacturing giants.
