Excent's MyGraduationPlan is a program developed to support students with disabilities who want to earn a high school diploma. The online software uses assessments and activities to help students identify their strengths and assess their disabilities, and to outline specific skill sets required for various employment goals. It also includes tools to enable student participation in individualized education plans. The program is intended to begin when students reach middle school, and adds new content, lessons and activities each year until graduation.


TalentEd Perform

Netchemia has added to its roster of K12 district administrative products with TalentEd Perform, a cloud-based performance management program. This solution reduces paperwork and simplifies the performance evaluation process for teachers, principals and administrators. Customizable features include online evaluation forms that coincide with existing district rubrics, automatic reminders to notify all users when forms are due, and a supervisor dashboard to schedule and track upcoming tasks and meetings. Evaluation data gathered by the program are reported clearly to help administrators make personnel and professional development decisions at the individual, building and district levels.



Classroom audio system

Audio systems maker FrontRow's newest model is designed for schools with above-average classroom connectivity needs. The Lasso includes a receiver with four audio inputs and two additional inputs available through wireless pendant microphones. This allows for amplification of multiple sources such as computers, DVD and MP3 players and more. Wireless one-piece infrared speakers need only a single power cord for operation, simplifying installation. A page override feature automatically mutes the system when the central office makes an announcement, and additional options include ceiling mounted speakers and wireless student microphones with charging docks.
