Gainesville, FL, Nov. 7, 2018– Collaborative spaces in the classroom are still a relatively new concept, making it a challenging transition for some schools and districts to establish these spaces. Most educators have never personally experienced these innovative learning environments as students; so new concept classroom design can be a daunting task. However, research shows that classroom spaces can either promote or hinder learning, so for a classroom to be utilized to its full potential, each and every space should be designed with instructional intent in mind.

So, how can educators manage learning spaces within new concept classrooms and create engaging collaborative, flexible learning spaces that increase student engagement? On Thursday, Nov. 15, MeTEOR Education™, a leading education solutions company that designs and implements student-centered learning environments to support accelerated engagement and an innovative learning culture, will host a free webinar that will explore the ways in which educators can reimagine the instructional intents of a classroom and rethink the way teachers structure their classroom space to support whole class, collaborative, small group or individual learning.

Led by Pam Gaschler, a HIGH IMPACT LEARNING EXPERIENCE™ expert for MeTEOR Education, the one-hour webinar will give educators an opportunity to look at the latest research on new concept classrooms and collaborative design and how it connects to student engagement and success.

Dedicated to supporting and coaching educators in instructional practices aligned to promote student engagement, collaboration and real-world authentic tasks, Pam has over 25 years of experience in public and private K-12 schools. She has been an elementary teacher, curriculum and instruction specialist, and instructional coach, and uses an instructional framework to customize and tailor professional learning to 21st Century Teaching and Learning.

Registrants receive a recording of the presentation along with research and resource materials. Participation in the live webinar presentation is not required. For more information, go to http://lp.meteoreducation.com/webinar-managing-open-spaces-pam
