Scanner app for Android debuted by Quick Key

Just one month after upgrading features and announcing a Pro app and a website dashboard, Quick Key Mobile releases an Android version of its teacher-acclaimed mobile scanning app. With a user-friendly interface, the Android app has all the same capabilities as the iOS version. Created by a veteran educator who was bound by restrictions of a paper-based classroom, Quick Key Mobile helps teachers improve student performance without teaching to the test.

“I was very excited when Quick Key became available on Android,” said Keith Vandersluis, educator at Covenant Canadian Reformed School. “It performs beautifully and saves me a ton of time. I’m looking forward to the next new feature, such as an integration with the district’s student information system.”

Quick Key Mobile is constantly developing and growing its features. The new Quick Key Pro and Pro Website apps have expanded student tracking, created custom student IDs, added a new Quiz Builder that lets users write and print quizzes, and created a way to form teams and share quizzes with other Quick Key Mobile users. Soon, Quick Key Mobile will release a 100-question quiz scanner to the iOS and Android mobile apps, as well as standards tagging and the ability to integrate with student information systems (SIS) and learning management systems (LMS).

“With the Android version, we can help every educator who wants to eliminate hand-grading, save time and have easy access to data analysis,” said Isaac Van Wesep, Quick Key Mobile CEO. “Quick Key for Android is available across the world to anybody with access to Google Play.”

The complete Quick Key Mobile solution is free for educators and schools performing occasional assessments. The company also offers a Quick Key Pro subscription option for users who frequently use the app, and a Site license plan for organizations that manage assessments at the institutional level.
