Moore is moving into the top leadership spot next month after serving as assistant superintendent for another Florida district

David Moore has been selected as superintendent of the School District of Indian River County in Florida. He will move into the top leadership spot December 2, after serving as assistant superintendent of Miami-Dade County Public Schools. Read more.

In Mississippi, the North Tippah School District‘s board promoted Scott Smith from assistant superintendent to superintendent. Beginning January 2020, Smith will replace Bill Brand, who is becoming the new superintendent of Alcorn School District, also in the state. Read more.
