Pearson and LearnSprout collaborate to deliver new insights

LearnSprout has joined Pearson’s PowerSchool independent software vendor partner program to offer student engagement and performance insights. PowerSchool Student Information System administrators will now be able to identify historical trends in attendance and spot chronically absent students in addition to monitoring with college-readiness tracking tools.

The White House and Discovery Education are expanding the "Of the People: Live from the White House” virtual field trip series. Offering upper elementary, middle and high school students access to White House and government officials as well as subject matter experts, Of the People will bring a series of 30-minute virtual events hosted by a student and broadcast live.

Viridis Learning expands online workforce education collection

Using online resources, Wow provides a do-it-yourself program, private coaching and college essay review services to help high school students master the application essay. Schools will be able to offer free access to Wow’s Gold package to seniors.

EMC Publishing unveils immersive Spanish education program

EMC Publishing launched its new immersive Spanish-language proficiency program, ¡Qué chévere!. The series, which offers five levels of Spanish instruction for middle school through high school students, is available in print and digital format. The new Spanish program will be available in a digital format in EMC Publishing’s Passport learning environment.
