Some schools are seeing a significant difference between the number of students they count in their own enrollment data and the “full-time equivalent” data that the state uses to calculate the number of students a school has.
The district said it found the city “failed to fulfill its obligations to the school district” as outlined under Ohio law, “resulting in significant financial losses.”
District plans to introduce meals that mirror meals from popular restaurants, like a take on a Big Mac, and hold a competition among staff members to see what meals they could come up with using leftovers and limited ingredients.
The questions the students asked ranged from how their fellow classmates would be involved in administrative decision making in the future, what the candidates would do to help long-term substitute teachers, and how they would be visible in school buildings.
Aaron Moran calls for the end to “contentious back and forth” focused on school board members and an emphasis on “a more professional and productive environment” centered on students.
