More than a dozen school districts closed due to troubling posts that emerged on social media in the wake of Tuesday's shooting at the Michigan high school.

Districts have been the subjects of lawsuits concerning mask mandates and Sunshine Law requests for documents related to "critical race theory."

U.S. 5th Circuit judges halted an injunction on the mask mandate ban.

If traditional K-12 schools take a more individualized approach to learning and allow kids more opportunities for self-led learning it would lead to higher levels of interest in high-demand STEM fields.
